You have built every layer of the system. You can identify anchors, detect iron links, read macro-level flow, troubleshoot ambiguous cases, and validate your sequences. But isolated mastery of each layer does not guarantee exam performance. Real PTE questions do not announce which strategy to use. A single paragraph may require anchor identification, three different link types, macro-flow analysis, and a validation pass, all within ninety seconds. You must diagnose which strategy applies, integrate multiple layers simultaneously, and execute under time pressure with unfamiliar passages.
The gap between knowing the techniques and performing them fluently is bridged only by integrated practice with systematic feedback. Research on skill acquisition consistently shows that technique mastery in isolation produces fragile knowledge that breaks down under novel conditions. Integrated practice, where you must select and combine strategies without prompts, produces the flexible expertise that transfers to exam conditions.
This Capstone Module fuses everything into a single, automatic workflow and stress-tests it against realistic exam conditions. It is the final stage of preparation: the place where individual skills become a unified system and where that system is verified under the pressures you will face on test day.
The Full Three-Layer Process applies in a fixed sequence that you will practise until it becomes automatic. First, anchor identification eliminates impossible positions by locking the first and last sentences. Second, link recognition builds local chains between consecutive sentences by tracing pronouns, article shifts, connectors, and other grammatical signals. Third, flow logic resolves any remaining ambiguity by verifying that the assembled paragraph follows a coherent rhetorical pattern. The fourth and final step is validation: reading the complete sequence and confirming that every transition feels natural.
Under exam conditions, this entire process compresses into a rapid, systematic sweep. You do not consciously separate the layers. You read the sentences, identify the anchor, scan for links, verify the flow, and validate the result. The three layers work in sequence, anchors eliminate impossible positions, links build local chains, and flow logic resolves remaining ambiguity, but the process becomes automatic only when you stop consciously separating them and treat paragraph ordering as a single integrated reading task.
