Mixed conditionals combine the Second and Third Conditionals. They are used when the time in the 'If' clause is not the same as the time in the result clause.

Type 1 (Past condition, Present result): 'If I had won the lottery (past), I would be rich now (present).' Structure: If + Past Perfect, would + base verb.

Type 2 (Present condition, Past result): 'If I were a better cook (present/general fact), I would have made dinner last night (past).' Structure: If + Past Simple, would have + past participle.
